HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Wishing everyone a very
happy new year for 2010!

Tonight is also a blue moon (meaning there is a full moon twice in one month!) and I found this lovely photo on flickr.

It's Christmas EVE! Everything is pretty much ready, the kids have put out the things for Santa and his reindeer, read the nativity story and in bed, asleep I hope. Just sorting out presents!

Let the mayhem commence!

and some more

Here is the page from Dec2, all about the weather. I need to add some snowflakes to the back though I think.

catching up (again!)

Here are some of my JYC pages, my photo printer has decided to give up the ghost, so some of my pages are yet to have photos with them, hoping to get a new one tomorrow:

Christingle

Today was lovely, we went to the Christingle service at Christchurch. Fin went with his Cub pack and families were invited. It was a lovely service and a nice way to start the Christmas celebrations.

JYC

Made a start of my JYC book and have some photos here. I found an old minibook with a plain chipboard cover and clear page protectors inside, took it apart, redid the cover and kept the insides. I have some BIG book rings to hold all my pages together. The pages will be approx 6 x 6, so small, but I plan to have a photo on the front and journalling on the back (I think!).

This is the cover, dotted swiss cover, inked edges, OA paper, OA rubons, luggage tag, AE digital kit printed out.

This is my manifesto page. It's an AE digi file printed onto kraft Hambly and hadwritten, then stitched into the clear page protector. OA rubons added onto the clear page protector afterwards.

Here is my manifesto card, simple and to the point!

sewing

that is what I am doing in every spare moment. The craft fayre is this Friday and woah has it come around quick. I do have more than the above to sell, which are badges by the way. I also have some keyrings, some hair bands and hair clips to finish off and a stack of christmas cards!

JYC started today and I seem a little unprepared for that too. It's like we know it's coming, but even when the 1 December is here, it's a surprise!

I do hope to be here more over the coming days to post my JYC progress and some more craft goodies.
